So I've decided to try things I've never done before graphics-wise. Last night, it was rotoscoping. Then I posted it on youTube, but I'll put it here for you to see.
I'm still trying to figure out what my Transferrable skills are, and I'll hopefully be able to have my resume rewritten soon.
My job Interview went ok, there won't be any word on work for a while, but I have my hopes up.

"Turn off the movie and update your blog."
Thats the heading of an email I received today.
It's one of 75 emails I've received from friends and co-workers from the past, so they know what's going on. I started this blog for that purpose, so I guess I should get to it.
Although technically my last day at work was January 31, I was told by my boss to take it off, as my "Floater" day. So, I did. There was no "Thank you" from the General Manager, who I had worked for since the beginning, no acknowledgment that I was leaving, or for that matter, that I had done anything of note in that entire time. It's like the 10 years was a waste of my time. I left with nothing to show for it. Am I bitter? No. I know what I accomplished in my time, and I truly hope other people noticed as well.
Since I left, I really haven't done much. I've slept, read some books, and have been trying to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life. Tomorrow I go to visit some friends and have an informal job interview, but I've been taking it easy mostly. I leave for California March 31, and will be going to a taping of THE PRICE IS RIGHT on April 2nd. Nicole and I are doing it for kicks, but I've been studying prices just in case we are picked. I'm getting good at converting Canadian dollars into US, but sometimes I forget to carry the 2.
As things get going, this will be updated more and more.
